Abstract

The domestication of alpacas occurred more than 6,000 years ago, tamed them by the Indians of Peru. In the past, alpacas were called “Inca gold”, they provided people with all the necessary resources for living. People dressed in clothes of wool and Alpaca skins, ate Alpaca meat, used the Alpaca manure as fuel for heating homes and cooking.
