Abstract
On model fistula sheep, the effect of feeding a form of choline “protected” from the indirect effects of symbiotic microflora as a source of methylating agents on pregastric digestion, digestibility, and use of nutrients of feed in the body was studied. An increase in the amount of digested nutrients of feed, an improvement in the indicators of carbohydrate-fat and protein metabolism in the body of animals receiving choline was established, which gives grounds for its use in sheep breeding.
