Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of microphotographs of felts of different fibrous composition, it presents the results of the analysis of wool felt fibers for the upper of shoes. The results of the analysis allowed us to estimate the amount of free space not filled with fibers. The practical significance of studying the porosity of shoe fibrous materials is determined.
