Brown algae as a possible source of biologically active substances in the nutrition of sheep

Abstract

On sheep with chronic rumen fi stula, the physiological eff ect of brown algae – fucus was studied. It was established that the dynamics of ruminal digestion indicators was the best in the animals of the experimental group. A tendency to improve the digestibility of nutrients in the diet was revealed.
