Алихан Букейханов об овцеводстве Степного края
Abstract
The article refers to the monograph by A.N. Bukeikhanov “Sheep husbandry in the Steppe Territory”, which was published in 1904 in the city of Tomsk. In the book, he summarized the centuries-old experience of sheep breeding, which relate to the biological characteristics and productive qualities of fat tail sheep, feeding and keeping, methods of reproduction and lambing, as well as traditional food products received from them.
