Abstract

The use of compound feeds in the diets of young sheep with a whole milk substitute (ZCM) and an Organic feed additive in an amount of 5.0 and 3.0% by weight compared to standard compound feed contributed to an increase in raw and digestible protein by 8.3-11.1 and 7.5-11.3%, lysine – by 1.4-2.9%, methionine with cystine – by 2.0-4.1%.

Experimental data have established that the highest coeffi - cient of meat content in lambs at 4 months of age was obtained in experimental groups receiving ZCM and feed additive “Organic” – 3.44-3.57 compared with the control – 3.07. Animals of experimental groups compared with the control in muscle tissue contained less moisture, but more dry matter, fat, squirrel.
