Abstract

A comparative study of the feeding of native (M) and the developed “protected” form of methionine (MP) to sheep revealed a more pronounced positive effect of it in the form protected from the indirect impact of symbiotic microflora on the direction of metabolic processes in the body. The application of the developed method led to a significant improvement in a number of indicators of protein and carbohydrate-fat metabolism, the functional activity of the liver.
