Abstract

The article presents a comparative assessment of the dynamics of live weight of goats, depending on age, raised in different climatic zones of the Republic of Tyva, and also provides indicators of absolute, average daily and relative gains. The object of the study is young local Tuvan goats. The obtained primary live weight data served as the basis for calculating absolute live weight by growing period, average daily and relative body weight gain. It was found that during the entire experimental period of research, the growth rate was higher in goats of the central forest-steppe zone compared to their peers in the southern dry-steppe zone.
